We're Not Ready For You Yet!

Mt. Capulin is an extinct volcano in the northeast corner of the state of New Mexico. It has a pleasant tourist center, with glass table-top display cases of Indian artifacts. For a small fee you can go out to the mountain itself, climb the trail up the side, and then walk down into the crater. The crater is choked with tumbled lava chunks from the last eruption thousands of years ago.

What no one suspects is that there is an immense network of tunnels under the mountain, a network dug out by beings from another world. Here is the story about how I found out about this:

My parents and I were on the way to Colorado Springs and the Garden of the Gods in Colorado. I was just a few days away from my 11th birthday, on August 19. Dad had decided out of the blue to go visit Mt. Capulin. Mother was a big perturbed because Dad was not one to usually make split-second decisions and change course without discussing the matter first.

Mom stayed in the tourist center while Dad and I went out to explore the mountain, which I thought was rather unimpressive -- just a big pile of crumbly, dark grey rock full of dried-out weeds.

When we returned to the center, in severe desperation, I immediately headed for the ladies' room. As I was passing by a row of the glass-top display tables, very much in a  hurry, I felt disoriented. My body stayed right there in the building, but my mind became dislocated. I felt myself drop straight down through many layers of rock until I stopped in an underground tunnel.

I knew that I was directly underneath the center. Yet, here was a wide tunnel, brightly lit with an orange glow. I was facing an archway through which I could see green, humanoid creatures swarming all over an object that from its shape, looked like a baby grand piano standing on its "hinge"side. The "piano" was swathed in a huge sheet of what we might call bubble wrap. The piano itself was on some kind of "dolly" atop a narrow railroad track, and the humanoids were pushing it on the track through a tunnel that intersected at right angles with the one in which I had landed. (The movement was from my right to my left.)

In front of me stood a small, grey, humanoid figure, maybe about four feet tall. (Popular UFO research would call this an alien.) It wore a greyish body suit with what we would describe today as a "hoodie". It held what I would describe as a clipboard and a marking pen, making checkmarks on a page. (Or was it a clipboard? Was it something like one of these new Kindles or iPads?) Something about the creature's manner gave me the impression it was female; what it was, I could not say.

The humanoid became aware of me and looked up, suddenly very upset. She demanded, "What are you doing here? We're not ready for you yet!"

The feeling of dislocation came over me. I felt mind rushing up through layers of rocks. I came to my senses in the tourist center. An ache in my abdomen brought me back to my senses; I "had to go!"At a very fast clip, I jogged to the ladies' room "just in time" to avert a disaster.

That is how I know the experience was real, my desperation to reach the ladies' room, being stopped, then having to take up quickly from where I had left off within the few seconds I was having an " out of body" experience.

What does it all mean? Will aliens someday come for me "when they are ready"? The closest answer to this is a story that was published at a blog for "phantoms and monsters" (that's the name of the blog), about a man named Burtoo. Decades ago, he was out fishing when he was abducted by aliens who took him aboard their UFO. He was examined by having an orange light shined all over him. The aliens asked him his age, which was then 78. They told him that he was too old and sick for their purposes.

Which makes me wonder what purposes the aliens have for me. Am I still young and healthy enough for them (I will be age 65 this year, 2013)? The aliens had no doubt been tracking me, so they recognized me as a "person of interest" to them. When will be "yet"? Am I scared? No, just bored with all these games.

My parents are now both deceased since 2005, but I had a daydream about them talking to me in that year. Dad said, "You've been through a lot. You have a lot to go through. But you'll make it. We have confidence in you."

All I can tell these aliens is this: If you have some plan for me, let's get it over with!
